Mansfield, Ontario

We had very little information about Mansfield, Ontario until Tracey Prewer from the Hill Billy Hack Animal Sanctuary, just north of the main cross roads of Mansfield, Ontario, got in touch with us! She writes...

"My name is Tracey Prewer and I live a few kilometres away from Mansfield in the town of Angus. However, I volunteer at Hill Billy Hack Animal Sanctuary and Wellness Centre that is located in Mansfield, Ontario.

"I don't know much about the history of Mansfield, Ontario, but I do know that it is a small rural town located on Airport Road and 5 Sideroad. Airport Road is a major thoroughfare for traffic between the Greater Toronto Area and Cottage Country. Mansfield, Ontario is part of the Mulmer Hills of Mulmer Township.

"Hill Billy Hack Animal Sanctuary and Wellness Centre is just north of the main cross roads of Mansfield. Currently, we have over 100 animals. Some of these are 40 horses, two emus, a llama, several exotic birds, three ferrets and many more animals that call The Hack their home. We provide horseback trails through the beautiful landscapes that run from level ground to small cliffs, from open areas to wooded closes. On some of our trails you can ford a river on horseback.

"I have lived in and around Mulmer Township for several years and even before I lived in the area and there hasn't been a single time that driving the roads of Mulmer Township and Mansfield, Ontario have failed to inspire awe in me with each new vista that unfolds before my eyes.

"Thank you for your time and good luck with your endeavours!"
