In May 2000 Mansfield, England hosted a visit by people from other Mansfield's around the world. More than one hundred "Mansfielders" came from as far away as Australia and the USA for a unique Millennium celebration that proved to be a huge success. So much so that in 2004 Mansfield, Massachusetts, USA hosted a return visit. This was followed by a smaller gathering in Mansfield, Michigan, USA in 2006.
In June 2008 Mansfield, Ohio, USA invited "Mansfielders" to take part in their Bi-Centennial celebrations and once again people from all around the world had the opportunity of uniting together just because they had a common bond in living in a town or city named Mansfield. In May 2010 Mansfield, Michigan reprised their 2006 invitation, again with great success.
In May 2012, Mansfield, England will again host people from other Mansfield's during a week long celebration that will unite once more all those with the common bond that has become so special to all those who have taken part in the Mansfield Experience.
